The questions we’re asked most often
These are the questions we’re asked most frequently, along with the answers we’d also give you in person. If you can’t find the information you’re looking for, just drop us a line! We usually reply on the same day.
Enquiries and prices
No, we handle everything via an enquiry. You tell us the dates and the number of people, we’ll send you an offer, and the booking is only confirmed once you’ve accepted it. There will be no costs incurred until then.
During the peak season, the minimum stay is 5 nights; during the off-peak season, it’s 4 nights. For last-minute enquiries, the rules aren’t quite so strict – just get in touch.
In addition to the accommodation cost, there’s a local tax of 2.50 euros per person per night. The final clean is included in the price. You’ll find all the services we offer listed in our brochure, so there are no surprises at the end.
Breakfast and meals
No. Our standard offer is accommodation without breakfast. You only rent the apartment. If you wish, you’re welcome to book breakfast at an additional cost – ideally when you make your enquiry. It will then be included in the offer.
You decide just how varied your breakfast will be: fresh eggs, seasonal fruit and vegetables from the farm, homemade jams and juices, honey, and home-baked treats are always on offer. These are complemented by produce from South Tyrol, so you won’t have to go without anything.
Yes, every apartment has its own kitchen with a fridge (including a freezer compartment), an induction hob, a dishwasher, a coffee machine, a kettle, crockery, pots, glasses, salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil, as well as tea towels. We can provide a microwave on request. You can do your shopping directly in Lengstein or in Klobenstein, and whatever the farm has to offer at the moment, you can get it from us.
Life on the farm
Yes, bed linen and towels are provided. If you stay longer, we’ll change them after consulting with you.
Yes, dogs of all sizes are very welcome here. We charge 15.00 euros per night per dog; we’ll discuss the relevant house rules in person when you arrive.
Yes, both Wi-Fi and parking are available free of charge.
We provide a cot and a high chair free of charge. We don’t have a traditional playground here, but we do have something much bigger: nature right on our doorstep. Building little huts in the woods, picking a bouquet of flowers, jumping in puddles, making crafts of forest animals, or gathering grasses and fruit for the farm animals – that was our playground when we were little, and it is precisely this sense of being at one with nature that children experience here on our farm.
Animals, children, and music
Under our supervision, they can help look after the animals and watch as we process our products. No prior knowledge is required, and there are no fixed times. We’ll let you know in the morning exactly what’s on the agenda.
Our musical evenings are organised spontaneously and in consultation with our guests.
Arrival & surroundings
The Renon/Ritten cable car takes you from Bolzano to Oberbozen in 12 minutes, and from there the Renon/Ritten narrow-gauge railway takes you to Klobenstein in 18 minutes. We’ll pick you up there when you arrive, and take you back there when you leave. If you’d like to take the train at any point, the nearest station is a leisurely half-hour’s walk away.
Check-in is from 4 p.m. and check-out is by 10 a.m. If you arrive early, you can leave your luggage with us and relax in nature. If you’re arriving late, please let us know. We look forward to welcoming you.
Bolzano is the best choice. There you’ll find museums, the arcades with plenty of shops, and the wonderful old town. The cable car runs whatever the weather. Anyone wishing to explore the plateau will find a charming change of scene at the Bee Museum in Klobenstein. And if you travel a little further, you’ll discover the artists’ town of Klausen with Sabiona/Säben Abbey or Trostburg Castle near Waidbruck – both are excursions well worth making, even in the rain. Or you could turn a rainy day into a spa day – another wonderful alternative
